Katie Gunter is an accomplished educator and proven business manager and administrator. Having excelled in public education, she transitioned her planning, organization and communication skills into management and administration of the assets of a high net worth individual and aligned trusts and companies.
Katie's areas of expertise include managing new business start-ups; effective small business office administration and organization; and general asset and real estate management for high net worth individuals and family businesses. Working collaboratively with top providers, she oversees the effective management of financial investments, estate planning and general business and personal administration. She has managed the acquisition, construction and disposition of numerous real estate assets in multiple states, to include negotiations with the Department of Environmental Protection, as well as other municipalities, agencies and associations.
Katie understands the intricacies of managing the start-up of a new company including investor relations, legal planning, office space selection, design and build-out, staffing and payroll accounting and HR policies and practices, as well as general administration and negotiations.
Graduating with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Katie was a N.C. Teaching Fellow. A member of the Society for Human Resource Management, she currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of The Cardea Group.
